Since the first G-SHOCK was launched in 1983 they are widely renowned as the world’s toughest watches featuring electric shock resistance, gravity resistance, low temperature resistance, vibration resistance, water resistance, shock resistance and overall toughness. On 12th December 2017 this toughness was taken to a whole new level when G-SHOCK earned the Guinness World Record for the heaviest vehicle to drive over a watch. How heavy? A 24.97 ton truck drove over the Casio G-Shock DW5600E-1 on a concrete surface and the watch and all it’s functionality survived intact.
