Know your Career in Fashion Industry

Flaunt your style, and get your creativity printed on magazines by having a career in the fashion industry. The Department of Employment expects to have about 1,300 job openings in the industry up until 2018. In order to get inside this glamorous profession, you need more than just creativity and a great fashion sense; great research skills, negotiation with both customers and manufacturing staffs, and ability to assist with clothing concepts are highly sought for.
Most of those working in the Fashion Industry have a Bachelor’s degree from online courses, or an Advanced Diploma and Certification III and IV. Relevant courses accepted in the industry are: Diploma and Certificate IV of Applied Fashion Design & Technology, and Certificate in Dress-making and Pattern Cutting.
