The following infographic shows a variety of stats for some of the world’s top tennis players. See the average age of these players breaking into the top 100 and how well they were all ranking at the age of 20. Notice that whilst some players performed very well at a young age, some players broke into the top 100 later in life. The statistics were collected from the ATP World Tour website and analysed by David Sammel, the author of Locker Room Power: Building an Athlete’s Mind. The players included were the ATP Top 100 as of 20/10/2014.
