Rata Tata is a successful entrepreneur and business man in India. Ratan Tata was born on 28 December 1937, Bombay, India. He is the son of Naval Tata. Ratan Tata completed his education at Campion School, Cathedral and John Connon School, and completed B.S architecture from Cornell University in 1962 and the Advanced Management Program certification from Harvard Business School in 1975.
Career:
Ratan Tata started his career in the Tata group in 1961 as a normal employee in the Tata Steel. He didn’t continue his work there for a long time. He was positioned at chairman of Tata group in 1991 after the resignation of J.R.D. Under his leadership Tata Group developed many companies such as TCS, Tetley, Jaguar Land Rover, and Corus. Tata interest turned into the car field, he helped to build a Tata Nano and Tata Indica. Ratan Tata resigned his post of chairman of Tata Group on 28 December.
Awards:
Ratan Tata received the Padma Bhushan in 2000 and Padma Vibhushan in 2008.
