These events have resurrected arguments on the vision of Martin Luther King, Jr., who sought to unite all races under the common maxim of peace and prosperity. His tireless fight to challenge those seeking to divide the masses, including racist whites in the south, the more hardline activists such as Malcolm X, and American warmongers in Vietnam, gained him an immense following as well as powerful enemies.
