The most dangerous mosquito in the United States is the aedes aegypti, also known as the “Yellow Fever Mosquito” due to it’s link to Yellow Fever. The aedes aegypti is also the known carrier for other diseases such as Zika, West Nile Virus, Dengue fever, and Chikungunya. The aedis aegypti mosquito has high populations throughout the southern United States and is responsible for some of the most dangerous diseases in the world.
