Iftar means breaking of the fast meal in the evenings of Ramadan. At the end of Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated, which is considered as an end festival of the season. All the major religions follow the concept of fasting, which is mostly applied in spirituality, politics, and health.
