A pandemic is a biological outbreak of a virus spread widely over a wide area, such as an entire continent or worldwide, affecting an insignificant number of individuals. A worldwide pandemic does not necessarily mean a typical outbreak but rather a series of minor outbreaks within a short period with few severe complications.

Therefore, a plague can affect anywhere from tens to hundreds of millions of people within a three to five-day period. Such an occurrence would cause massive disruption to the global economy, reduce food production, and force millions of migrations. Similarly, a worldwide virulent disease does not necessarily follow a breakthrough or a discovery, but rather a sudden increase in the rate of spread, which could be caused by the introduction of a disease that previously had no immunity to its victims.

A deadly disease can appear in several countries, spreading through human contact and causing serious consequences for thousands of people, especially in poor, densely populated regions. A pandemic can last anywhere from three weeks to over one month. An epidemic may affect a single city or a series of cities, or it may affect several countries or continents at once. In a pandemic, a particular disease becomes a pestilence when several countries become infected simultaneously, and millions of people fall ill and are killed.

In 2019, an infectious disease named Corona Virus Disease 2019, also known as COVID-19, emerged in Wuhan, China. COVID-19 became a global economy. This plague turned the whole world into a vulnerable state: From the financial state to mental and physical condition.
